50th Anniversary of the Deepest Dive

Attended an event celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Deepest Dive and Don Walsh at the Cosmos Club on Tuesday and at the Smithsonian on Thursday! An outstanding event enjoyed by all. Many high visibility people in attendance. Don Walsh, pilot of the Trieste Bathescaphe that went down into the Marianas Trench in 1960. Director James Cameron, Sylvia Earle, Josh Bernstein, Graham Hawkes, & many other members & fellows of the Explorers Club were there.

Les Aventures Extraordinaire

I highly recommend a new French movie titled "Les Aventures Extraordinaire." An Indiana Jones/Lara Croft syled movie that opened April 14th in France. One of the latest in foreign films that appears to be a lot of fun in the Jules Verne and adventure exploration of the 1930s. Go to their official WEB site and enjoy the trailers. Has my high recommendation for this style of entertainment.

New Blog spot for my Exploration and other Adventures

Recently returned from my latest Expedition to the Philippines searching for MIAs of WWII. More to come when appropriate & with photos. Just finished attending the 50th Anniversary of the deepest dive celebration for Don Walsh, Honorary President of the Explorers Club. Outstanding event with many high visibility individuals in attendance. Spent Tuesday with Don as he took on numerous interviews for the event. Enough for now.
